Re: Lost connector to connect xyzprinting da Vinci jr to extruder
Reshape the metal part and glue it back. Alternatively, ask people that did RAMPS conversion for their Jr. and don't need the cable anymore mail one to you.

I don't have the metal part anymore, that the problem.
Re: Lost connector to connect xyzprinting da Vinci jr to extruder
If you are not afraid damage it further, cut 2mm from the top so that you can push the cable further in. It's a bad idea, don't try unless you run out of choice. It's one of my beat the dead horse approach. Buy a new cable if possible. Many people RAMPS conversion for their Jr. and don't need the cable anymore. Hopefully they did not throw them away.

Re: Lost connector to connect xyzprinting da Vinci jr to extruder
Even if I was able to do that how would I be able to secure it? Is there a way to 3dprint the metal connector piece, I have another printer.
Thank Tyler
Re: Lost connector to connect xyzprinting da Vinci jr to extruder
cut 2mm,dont cut them all. you still have at least 4mm exposed metal contact

Re: Lost connector to connect xyzprinting da Vinci jr to extruder
Will unplug the cable and reboot printer fix it?
Do you have broken metal piece inside of the slot that your cable suppose to insert in?

Re: Lost connector to connect xyzprinting da Vinci jr to extruder
check the fuse on main board then. In the worse case, you can replace the mainboard with RAMPS1.4

Where is the fuse on the motherboard?

This is for different board, but the fuse looks similar. There are multiple fuse on the board labeled with R numbers, you can usually tell by the color/appearance if you are experienced. However, it is not easy to replace it for most of people, you are likely to cause more damage if you are not confident on your solder skills.
On the other hand RAMPS Conversion cost more money and you need to read more and learn more skills, but you get printer with better print quality.
Neither of the above is easy, if you are not confident with either of them, sell it for parts on ebay.
