Video for beginners starting CAD

Thanks guys. I'm 35 now so I was pretty young back in the early Solidoodle days. Planning a video that recaps all of the mods I've done to it as a farewell. Might be a few things I never posted here.

For the first time in I don't know how many years, my Solidoodle won't be my main printer.

According to the Facebook group the Prusa i3 mk3 is full of bugs, so we'll see how that pans out.

These days I have a resin DLP printer too. It's pretty interesting, I'll make some vids on that too.

Have you come across a resin that is as tough as ABS or PLA? My only gripe with SLA is the finished prints are very brittle and not good for structural parts.

Just took a quick look at two Printit machine, the first impression is the big letter in red background can be improved. The machine will look much more professional without the big "8.10" or "Horizon".

Not criticize on the specification or anything else, it is just something I think is easy to fix and can improve people's first impression on the machine a lot. I'm not saying the graphics are more important than the specification, but unfortunately it will affect the sale believe or not. I know people from R&D and Marketing department have different opinion on what makes great product, but if it is a easy fix, why not do it?

Maybe in your region or business sector. But in mine which is Telecom refurbished, graphics sell a product. We have tours of prospective customers weekly. Since we started getting products with graphics and names that are very visual our customer base has grown more than ever. The only thing we did is stopped buying generic and stop buying products that are afraid to have their name and logos proudly displayed on them.

To me a company name on a product and the font and size of that name directly relates to how that company feels about its own products. Large name means very proud and supportive. Small or no name means they would rather not even be associated with product.
