Topic: Calibration Issue - Solved! (da Vinci 1.0)

Hi all,

A while back I posted this RANT, primarily about problems with calbrating my da Vinci 1.0.

I thought I had fixed the problem, but it started playing up again recently.

I have since discovered that the nut securing the threaded rod at "B" had somehow worked itself loose, so the rod was simply rotating on the spot when I was turning the wheel (and thus not making any changes in calibration.

I have now tightened this nut back up, so the rod is secure once again, and checked the other two rods to make sure they are also firmly in place.

I'm attempting recalibration at present, having had to remove the entire print bed to do this maintenance...

Cheers,

Jeff

I had to glue the nuts on my in with super glue. The bed got too hot one day due to the logic freezing and the nuts would just free spin in the holes they are in.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
