Topic: Slicer issue

When I've used Slic3r Which G-code Flavor should I use?

There is:

  • RepRap
    Teacup
    Makerware
    Sailfish
    Mach3/LinuxCNC
    No Extrusion

Anyone use it and knows?

I am new to it just tried RepRap and didnt work

I use RepRap. You said it didn't work, how so?

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

Well what happens it I used RepRap then it warms extruder and bed like normal then moves to where it does the like test bead but like freezes up and says 100% build?? Doesn't move the bed up or anything to the correct z plane or feed on the extruder?

It thrown me, no matter which one I use it wont work sad

Would it matter as to what firmware is on it as to whether Slic3r would work with it??
