Topic: Da Vinci 1.0 AiO scan software not connected

Just got the Da Vinci 1.0 AiO printer/scanner from XYZprinting but the scan software keep on saying that the printer is disconnected when it is clearly is. I have printed stuff so I know it is connected. I have re installed the software both from disk and download but still same problem which is when I start the scan program, i get a popup saying that the printer is disconnected from pc. it asks to make sure that the printer is connected and the power is on (both are) then hit connect. When i do, same message. Has anyone els have or had this problem?

Same here, this is first time I have tried the scan but cannot. I am going to play with the port setting to see if the buad rate makes a difference

I found it easiest to turn my printer off, then turn off my computer and turn them both back on every time I switch from scanning to printing.  Otherwise I have the same problem.

Edit *I am currently using a windows 7 enterprise edition laptop.*

I had the same problem when I first tried to install scan on windows 7 I could never get it to work so I tried my other computer with windows 8 and it worked with no problem. I don't know if your running win or Mac but in my situation it was something wrong in win 7.

Da Vinci  AiO with firmware 1.1.1 using xyzscan 1.1.18
E3Dv6 hotend with custom carriage with Borosilicate glass bed
123D Design and Simplify3D, Replaced PS with a Solidgear Flex320
Zerokart resetter,  Installed a Extruder Controller for higher temps

Well i have finally worked out that the manual for the scanner calibration is actually incorrect.
I kept getting error messages when trying to calibrate it and it was doing my head in...
In the manual it says to wait for the message to insert the calibration board....... this is wrong.
Before you click to do any calibration, place the board in side on the turntable with it facing away from you. it will then go through the processes and complete fully.
I am however still having problems with bad scans and program crashing on the scanner if anyone has any ideas?

i found that u have to just unistall n reinstall at least 3 times before it works
