Topic: The Filastruder enclousre is AWESOME

Let me preface my review of this by giving you guys a little information about me. I am not being paid to do this review or anything like that. Also, I own a Filastruder with no enclosure, so that is what I will be comparing the enclosed Filastruder to. Pros

  • Aesthetically pleasing

  • Built in face place for PID controller and switches

  • Face plate for buttons/switches is labeled

  • Fast and easy to assemble

  • Adjustable fan piece

  • Easy vertical mounting

Cons

  • I did not really have any problems, so no cons as of right now

This is a very early review, and I am purging my new Filastruder with the included pound of MG94. For $50, this takes the hassle of mounting everything on a piece of wood and makes it a breeze. I would strongly recommend this to anyone buying a Filastruder.

I completely agree about the enclosure. It was a breeze to assemble with the case also.

Check this switch mount out that I made awhile ago. It could use some adjustment but its great to have on my filastruder.

Where did those large burn marks come from? Like the one over the ER in Filastruder?

That's residue from the laser cutter/engraver. I put transfer tape on the melamine to prevent that, put sometimes it doesn't stick and then air assist blows the soot all over from the engraving.

It cleans off with acetone or soapy water.
