Topic: Belt was loose and skipped how to fix.

I was printing something and notice a noise that didn't sound right. Come to find out that the belt had skipped and now the extruder is now out of position. how do i re align the extruder?

The actual advise from XYZ is to push the extruder carriage all the way back. You will notice one side will hit the back befor the other. Just push the side that is making it until the belt skips again and lines up. You can do the same thing by pulling it forward until the correct side hits the forward pully. The just force the offset side.

this was asked by another user who contacted XYZ and that is what they told him.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
