Topic: Solidoodle 4 odd prints probably my fault please help

First things first I have very little electronics or computer knowledge please forgive me if Im doing something obviously dumb.

I have a Soldioodle 4 maybe 2 weeks old and I cannot get anything like a decent print from it. Everything comes out as an expanded stringy mess. Software and mechanical set up done per Solidoodle's recommendations using Repetier and Slicer Im really not sure whats going on

The attachment just came out of the printer it's suppose to be a heart shaped paperclip type thing. Ive also tried the phone stand from Solidoodles.com with similar results.

Anybody have a suggestion as to what Im doing wrong?

Thanks

Blair

Here is the picture sorry forgot to click the add file button

Print bed and extruder temps are default 215c for the extruder and 105c for the bed IIRC

I was not aware of a need to calibrate the extruder stepper out of the box I will give it a try.

Using Solidoodle's own black ABS filament (really needs a guide on the spool Ill be printing one as soon as I get this up and running)
