Topic: Just isn't my week,...

Yesterday I finally got my S2 working with the E3D workhead. Got it to increase temp etc., but when I go to print it goes to the front left corner,(0x,0y) instead of the center.   Anyone have any idea how to correct this.  I have made sure that I "center" it in RH before slicing.

I think I will be a noob til i'm old and grey at this rate.

Re: Just isn't my week,...

Check to make sure all of your endstops are plugged in, they will be 2-pin molex connectors on the motherboard labeled X, Y, Z. The 4-pin ones are your stepper motors. During the e3d installation it's possible you knocked one loose. Recently learned that loose endstops can cause behaviors like printing in the right corner because of the way the endstop logic works.

So I'd check this first. What happens when you click Home for each axis? Does it actually home or just keep bumping into the carriage?

end stops are all connected well.  Checked the fit on board and it is fine for all.  When I home for x or y individually it will go there.  BUT, trying to move away from home on X for instance does not work unless I intentionally force the workhead assembly into the end stop.  ( trying to go 10mm when there is only 1mm distance)  In that case it will only move away from the end stop 1 time, whether it is 1mm or 10.

both are set for center and indicate it will print in center
