Topic: Printer Settings (what have people used with best results)

Hey all.

Still working on my printer. Made a lot of progress even.
But I still have issues with consistency and resolution.

So I am asking all of you, what slicer settings do you use that have given you the best results?

I have a Solidoodle 2 basic, No heated bed

My temp is 205

if you have questions about more, please ask

Re: Printer Settings (what have people used with best results)

This setting works the best for my application (linkages, gears, interlocking structural parts):

  • 0.22-0.25mm layer height

  • 0.20-0.30 honeycomb infill

  • 220C extruder

  • 110C heatbed

  • 20 to 60 layer 0.4mm thickness anti-warp barrier, 1-3mm away from the object

  • Variable feed and flow rates, depending on the shape of the object

Sometimes shamanic dancing and chanting at it also helps keep layers stick, prevents warping, and exorcises mysterious mid-print system failures!
