Topic: Blobby / Jittery prints... (picture)

Trying to debug this damn issue where my prints are coming up all blobby / jittery.

Is there a consolidated Solidoodle 4 (/3) resource. Documentation is remarkably terrible for this device so I can't seem to narrow down an issue or even where to start. Been trying to get the flow right, or the platform level, etc.

Can't crack this one - and happens with a .1 and .3 mm build...

Over-extrusion I'd bet.
You'll need to calibrate your extruder.

Info here:

See I assumed it was a Z height issue and pushing around too-hot of ABS.

I will also try the extrusion multiplier. Thanks

The extrusion multiplier isn't really the best way to go, although it can help to diagnose the issue.
In that link above is a youtube link, watch it then do the stuff Ian suggests in it and you'll then be able to adjust everything else knowing it's properly calibrated.

Don't worry about making derps, we all do it at some point, often more than once tongue
