Topic: Repetier Speed & Flow Multiplier

Just discovered that we can speed/slow the current print on the fly using the speed and flow multipler on the manual control panel of repetier...beauty!!!

Probably the only person that didnt realise this, haha. I just sped up a print from 43mins to 20mins overall...quality of print is the same.

It means we can be fairly light on our speeds to start with to maintain a good quality print but if it gets to parts where its not as important we can speed it up, or in intricate areas we can slow it right down.

Also looks like the flow automatically adjusts with the speed so we dont even need to touch the flow multiplier...unless of course you need more or less plastic coming out.

Re: Repetier Speed & Flow Multiplier

Yea I just played around with repetier today for the first time and am quite impressed.  I turned it down for manual control speed and realised it did it to prints when it was barely moving for the print  very very handy.  I can see why everyone suggests grtting away from pronterface

Re: Repetier Speed & Flow Multiplier

install a panelolu (the LCD kit) and turning the knob speeds up or slows down the printer, using any slicer..
