Topic: Leaning tower of Da Vinci
Morning all. I'm running firmware "G", with a spool of White Octave 1.75 running 120 on the bed and 215 on the extruder. Filament is coming down from above, and then back in the back crack of the box and in through the rubber grommet. Tension is normal.
When I printed out this unit, it was offset, continuously, towards the back of the unit. I've since gone back and tightened the belts (taught, make a "hum" sound when plucked), and run a calibration with a dial gauge unit on the bed (within .005" across the bed).
What I don't understand is that this looks "curved" like a slow drift upwards.
I printed out the replacement bearing block from this forum this morning after all of that, and the "curve" exhibited on the first vase, that was progressively towards the back, is showing on the bearing, only this time on the left side of the housing. The right side of the housing has a vertical wall perpendicular to the bed....the left side sort of "sweeps up" and flares out as it goes up.
What could be causing this, and how can I test without printing $20 of plastic every time or committing to a large model?
Humbly submitted....
