Topic: First Couple Prints on Davinci 1.0

Hey All,

Here are my first couple prints on the daivnci 1.0. Im sitting on 1.1E firmware version. Use slic3r to slice and printed at bed temp 90c and extruder temp 220c. Models were created by my wife in zbrush. I will probably be blasting with repetier and hooking up octopi, but have yet to pull the trigger.

Have had some issues with bed level calibration so I turned off auto calibration and just did it myself with paper and a feeler gauge.

im not using slic3r atm. but i wanna use it. your prints are awesome. i tried some low poly pokemons from thingiverse, but the overhangs failed. even with support and raft. do you think it will work better with slic3r? and what settings are you using in slic3r?
