I love tattoos. And I love printing. But I don't think I'm signing up for this. hmm

in theory it would be as accurate as the program but me personally i wouldnt trust it

What if you move your arm a little too much?  What if an axis shifts?  What if the printer simply glitches?  No thanks.

Probably need to print a jig that holds your arm to prevent movement.

Or use some borosilicate glass with some hair spray to hold your arm in place tongue

Classic.

I have two half sleeves (working on a suit) and some spots on the human body, no matter your pain threshold, you will twinge. When you have the knuckle of the shoulder tattooed...even if it is slightly just from breathing heavily, you will experience this. Oh...and try getting the brink of your armpit tatted!

Those are such tender spots, I do not trust even the most state of the art machine to do.
While I found this a fascinating, why have the T-1000 or R2D2 permanently doodle on you when you could have Geiger or Da Vinci do your work?

How does it know how to adjust for height? It's almost like it would need some infrared sensors and a modified firmware ...

^^ Well ABS glue does stick to skin fairly well... and it is removable if you put it on thick enough you can peel it off I know from a lot of first hand experience wink

So... it didn't look like the circle connected correctly... is that why they cut the video before it connected?

That's a definite no for me. Until it uses cameras/lasers/calibration sensors, you can just experiment on pork's belly like they've always done in the past.

For now, I will use my inkjet to make temporary My little Pony/Yoda tattoos.

Agreed. Any and all sensors would have to recalibrate in real time as the "canvas" moves.
Is it possible? Sure!
Is it probable we will see it in our lives? Hell no.
