Topic: Incorrect layer count in Repetier?

Hello everyone.  Haven't seen this mentioned before, but it is troublesome to me.  I do a lot of single extruder, multicolor prints, requiring me to pause, lower the bed, and change color to continue printing.  When I pause and lower the bed (two clicks on 10) , it changes the layer count by 2.  This gets confusing after two or three pauses.  I think its not the pause that does it, but the lowering of the bed.  Repetier  (latest version) sees this as a layer change and changes the count.  Wondering if anyone else has noticed this?  This has occurred in all versions of Repetier so far...any resolution to this issue forthcoming?

Re: Incorrect layer count in Repetier?

It's true, I 've seen it too, however, you'll also notice that the final layer count is also larger by the same number of layers.  If your original number was supposed to be 30 for example, you'll see something like printing "layer 32 of 30".

So, the point is that you're still getting all the layers printed, just numbers are skewed to account for the manual movements.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
