Topic: Hey-O From Canada

Hey All.
I am actually looking for somebody that has a 3D printer and can take my 2D drawings and print me some samples.

I am not looking for a freebie here or anything, just somebody that can actually do the work.

My 2D files are in AI and EPS and are pretty much ball and cylinder shapes. From my limited 3D knowledge from back in the early 2000's I know that extruding should be FAIRLY easy for something like this.

Did I come to the right place? Where should I go?

Best place to post this here?

If you can't find anyone and your willing to spend a little time I've heard google sketch up is real easy to learn, and its free.  And they're are tutorials all over youtube, that's how i started with my program.   Then look at www.shapeways.com,  they're fairly reasonable on price, but you need to upload .stl files.

Thanks SnakeEyes,
While I wouldn't mind spending the time, I do need it to be sized and shaped accurately to my measurements. Me and math don't get along well, so this would greatly extend the timeframe LOL. I have more than enough on my plate to add anything more right now.

Not in a huge rush though, so I have some time to locate somebody.
