Topic: I'm having freezing and crashing issues with Sketchup

I've been tinkering with sketchup for a few years now and have made all kinds of models but within the past year it started freezing and crashing pretty badly.  now once it gets to a certain size it does it so badly i can't even come anywhere close to finishing any of the model houses i have been working on.  it gets so bad that as soon as i open one of the models which has gotten a bit big it crashes right away.  are there any fixes that have been done to get that problem to quit?  it's getting very irritating.

A couple of things I've found:

- SU13 is far more stable than SU8.
- A fresh install seems to help a lot, as does having less plugins.

Having said that, I find most of my crashes are performing simple push pull and move tasks.
