Topic: New to the forum!

Hi everyone, new to the community and new to 3d printing! I got my Solidoodle 3 for Christmas, and just got it set up. So far I have leveled the bed and picked up some materials for an enclosure. I still need to calibrate the extruder and make some other adjustments.

My first couple of test prints didn't come out too well.  The layers didn't stick together.  Any thoughts? My bed was set to 100c and the extruder was set to 200c

Calibrate that extruder and make your adjustments, build your enclosure.  That's the answer, it sounds like you have this under control and welcome to the forum.

Thanks!  I also picked up an 8x8 piece of glass today.  Figured it wouldn't hurt to try.  Releveled the bed with the glass, calibrated the extruder, and I'm in the process of printing some enclosure pieces courtesy of paeltz.  The first couple of pieces so far are looking pretty good!
