Topic: Trying to upgrade firmware and instructions don't make sense

I have Soliddoodle 3 printer I went to upgrade the firmware and was following the instructions until I got to this point.

-Navigate to the Marlin directory, select the Marlin.pde file and click “OK”.
On a windows machine, this might be located in the folder,
C:\Documents and Settings\Sam\Marlin-3814bbb\Marlin

My Directory is Marlin_SD3_

There is no Malin.pde file
(see photo)

Can someone help?

But there is a Marlin_SD3_.pde file.

May I ask where you got this? It does not look like either the official Solidoodle release, Lawsy's github, or Adrians newest fork from the updated Marlin.

SO, there is no Marlin_SD3_.pde in the downloads from that page. I am guessing you renamed yours somehow.

Anyway, its just a name. The pde file is there, you should be able to open it even if it is named Marlin_SD3_.pde instead.

Solidoodle 3 users will need this this version.

Its there. SD's instructions just don't address the filename change.
