Topic: Small pile of pellets on motor side.. v1.1?

Hey,

v1.1 - Serial 380

I've assembled and I've extruded 2lbs of ABS

After running the last 3 days for a total of about 20 hours there's a small pile of pellets (IMG_8077.jpg) below where the auger enters the wooden block.  Is this normal?

The nipple was 100% clean, all lips removed.  But I guess the odd pellet makes it in reverse?

I've also created a new object on Thingiverse for my re-designed Electronics Enclosure and Hopper.

Thanks in advance,

Ben

Yup, normal. That's a little more than I see but not too extreme.

Ok cool!  Yeah no biggie it might have been longer than 20 hours as well.

Quick reply!

Thanks,

Ben

Yeah, it has to do with the position of the auger relative to the barrel. I think I'll refine it in the next revision, but I've held it constant for now until I have time to test 'n tune.
