Topic: Turning off SD

Okay, super noob question...

Is there a proper way to turn off the solidoodle? There's no power switch that I'm not seeing, right? Is it really just unplug?

Should I wait for things to cool down before unplug? or when job is done I can just unplug?

Re: Turning off SD

Yep, just unplug it, till you upgrade it yourself with an on/off switch.

SD2 - Glass Bed, Fans on PCB and Y motor, Custom enclosure
Slicer - Simplify3D

Re: Turning off SD

I usually wait until the extruder and printbed are below 50c and then hit the switch on the powerstrip that the S2 is connected to...

SD2 - Stock - Enclosure - Heated Bed - Glass Plate - Auto Fire Extinguisher
Ord Bot Hadron - RAMPS 1.4 - Bulldog XL - E3D v6 - 10" x 10" PCB Heated Build w/SSR - Glass Plate

Re: Turning off SD

Or if you are running linux and have a home automation system, you can do something like this:
