Topic: Help with Sketchup/.stl Knob

Hey all.  Im tearing my hair out with a simple knob file.  No matter what I do I can't get it print-friendly.  Netfab keeps closing my centre hole, but the outside/top offsets stay fine.  Ive tried everything I can think of, remade file numerous times, scaled it up etc etc.

Any tips to fix this beast?  smile

Cheers

Re: Help with Sketchup/.stl Knob

Alrighty I think I have one part figured.  I remade the model slightly by getting rid of one ends insert recess.  Now it opens without error, but slicer doesn't do well with the top edge (doesn't fill it in).  Going to mess around wit reducing the perimeter width etc to see if its capable of filling the gaps.

You had an extra interior wall and you just needed to reverse the face on the inner cylinder.

Thanks VERY much!  I was able to make 3 more different styles now and so far so good smile  Sometimes I miss the forest through the trees...
