Repetier host manual?

Is there a better Repetier manual that i'm just not able to find?  The manual page that i get when i use the menu links are not very thorough. I would like to now more about the g-code editor and other functions.  I was working on a startup script yesterday using 'script 1' and was always cutting and pasting into the g-code section to test run.  When I thought i had it like i wanted it, i pasted it into the 'start code' not realizing that it would be executed each time i pressed 'run job'.  Well, needless to say i spent a few minutes figuring out why my start code was running twice.
Another area of interest that i can't find much info on is the '[first_layer_height]' and those types of commands.  Can anyone point me to a good manual?
