Topic: Hello from St. Louis

Hey Everyone!

Been really interested in this "hobby" for awhile, just didn't have the money(or the thought to research home made solutions). I'm looking into buying one made by SeeMecnc. The Orion caught my attention, but I like the one you put together as well.

I'm not sure which I should buy, or if any have better suggestions?
I'm going to start searching the forums now.

Hey Andrew,

Glad to see you're on the forum and looking to get into 3d printing yourself.  I don't have any experience with SeeMecnc, but I can say that I've never 3d printed anything in my life and just purchased a Solidoodle 3.  It arrived 3 days ago, and within the first day I had good parts.  I've since printed a filament guide to prevent bunching on the spool as well as pieces for an enclosure.

I must say, for someone who has never 3d printed anything before, Solidoodle has (so far) been a great solution... for the price point I have absolutely no complaints.
