Anyone using Daz3D? I need some help with the smart content

My smart content list on the left pane always seems to be empty.  I can add models from the right hand content directories and snap the clothes to people by clicking and dragging.  But except for the basic pose controls the smart content on the left isn't there.  Anyone know steps to get it back?
