Ahhh they are confirming they got my money. haha Thanks. I almost got excited there. I am in the same state so hopefully when they get to my machine it will ship to me quick. I think I have a ways to go given I am in the 11000's.

If you gave them an email when you bought it you will get emails(check spam folder) otherwise probably not.

Well they have been running about a month... so I would expect an email soon a lot of their emails do end up in spam boxes though.... just because they use a bulk mailer.

Quoting myself in the interest of others, I was registered before I made the purchase. I got a confirmation email for the order and a confirmation email for the shipping (it landed in Gmail's spam folder). The distination is Canada.

Funny thing is....NO power cord was in the box!
LOL, luckily I have already upgraded my power supply and just had to swap.
It has the aluminum bed upgrade.

I just cancelled my order with solidoodle 3... Reordered it from imakr.com in London, its coming tomorrow!

By the time i've paid VAT and delivery worked out about the same!

Grrr now i have to find time to set it up!

Very first question why no limit switches in +/- X and Y directions. I've already slammed into the end in both directions (that don't have limit switches) using manual control and accidentally hovering and clicking on 10mm but slipping onto 100mm.

Next step first print, (following Solidoodles step methodology), then probably calibration.

It does have home/limit switches but they are only on one end of each axis. the software must be properly set up to stop each axis from stalling the stepper when it runs out of travel unless one or more of the switches are not working or unplugged... when you hit the any of the 'home axis' buttons on the software do the limit switches work?

Yeah it is homing limit switches only. The software must stop it from hitting the other side. . .. . which doesn't prevent you from manually hitting the other side if say you accidentally do two steps of 100mm. Note to self, don't click 100mm step twice

sometimes you have to set the software a little smaller than 150mm (SD2) depending on tolerances and axis but it will stop it both sides.

I think they might be behind still waiting on mine order 10818 and gave me an estimation of 7 days. But im excited and they do a great job at shipping out printers be for the 8 weeks.

I got my 3d printer today. UPS was quick with delivery. I am surprised by the turn around time on getting the printer. One month to the day from ordering to delivery on my doorstep.
