Topic: Filament wholesale

Hey guys

I'm thinking I may want to start wholesaling filament and am working on the logistics of getting it here at a low cost.

Would anyone be interested in quality filament for $30-$35 a kg? Is there any point in competing with octave?

I don't think there would be much point if it is the same filament everyone else carries which would be obvious from the spool type and color choices.   If you can get filament made for you in custom colors that you offer in smaller quantities that would be better.  I really like what Faberdashery does, but they are PLA and very expensive.    You would need to find a way to be more than just another reseller.  I don't know if Octave filament is different from several other sellers, but they have made a name for themselves from visibility and customer service.

Also keep in mind that Octave is available through Amazon with Prime, so free (2 day UPS) shipping as well as the low price might be difficult to compete with.
