Greetings from Jersey

Solidoodle owner for about three weeks, 3D printing virgin before that.  Quite impressed and more than happy with the machine, despite the addictiveness.

Although I'm new to all this (but not to engineering or making things), the SD2 worked out of the box (*much* better than I had expected; just needed a little common sense to set up -- beyond that, a glass bed helped, too, esp. with large prints .  Already printed and designed a few items (including a spool holder on Thingiverse -- first post, can't include links yet, unfortunately), and added a fan and a RasPi with Octoprint to the machine.  Looking forward to even more fun with it!
