Flashed Repetier on Da Vinci 1.0 but its not working properly

As the title states i have flashed repetier on my Da Vinci 1.0 and I've tested it but it did not go as planned. it is very technical and I don't learn well without hands-on work or someone there to tell me what I'm doing wrong. it took more than a week to figure out how to flash it on the machine but now I'm stuck at a point where the bed is raised up and the stepper motor I thing or one of the extruders motors it pulling it back even though it cant go any further from its rest point (where it dumps the excess plastic) and the bed is all the way up (i manually set it back down by twisting the center pole). A video or step by step instructions with pictures would really help but at this point I'll take any help as long as I can get back to printing. I should also clarify im on a macbook pro m1 2021 with parallels so i also have access to windows.
