Guys, can someone measure E3D V6 aluminum block ?
I bought genuine E3D sock and some blocks from different sellers. I am not sure which one lied to be.
IF anyone here has original E3D hotend with aluminum block and a sock, please post measurements.

My aluminum blocks measured as
12.1mm height
16.1mm width
20mm length

Sock is inside dimensions measured about
11mm height
16.. width
22mm length

i can tell you the silicone socks fit the genuine part just fine.

SD4 #1 & #2 - Lawsy carriages, E3D v6, Rumba controller board, mirror bed plate, X motor fan, upgraded PSU & Mica bed heater

Mine too.  I use a dab of high-temp sealant to help hold them in place...strictly for asthetics.

I can tell the same thing.
What i cant tell is which one is fake and which one is not.
Sellers do not post specs most of the time, they just say "E3D V6" blah blah blah but it turns out there are at least 2 different versions of it.
This one will fit my block so it turns out i have genuine sock but fake block sad

That sir is why many of us here buy only genuine parts from known retailers .
I do not want to sort parts when making a repair  or upgrade.
