Topic: Davinci 1.0 Power issues
Ok, I'm not 100% sure what happened (as it was off and only did a bit of work fixing the connector for my E3D v6 thermistor), however now the extruder nor the bed are heating and the steppers won't engage/move. A friend suggested I'd blown either the stepper controller (unlikely all 3 or all 3 motors given I can't get the extruder to engage), or one of the 12v rails.
Measuring directly off the PS, all 3 12v rails the 3.3 and 5v all test with correct voltage (+/- 0.1 v). If I measure between the pins of either heater and power supply's housing as ground I get 12v on either pin but 0v across the pins.
Measuring between the 12v GND and the output of one of the stepper controller yields 12v as does VM and GND. Also the 3.3 and 5v are getting to the stepper controllers yet the steppers are not "locked" as if they are "on". If I had a way to wire up a standard Arduino to the stepper controller I could check the motors/controllers without the "assistance" of the main board. Issuing M114 returns "NAN" for all 4 motors.
I also tried wiping the firmware and reloading the build from LUC's reprap as it picked up a Z offset somewhere in it's little mined, again when it was off and turned on.
