Topic: Cura versions

Hi,
I have Monoprice IIIp-D6 printers.  So far I have been using the version of Cura that came on the SD card that came with the printer.

Is there a newer version around?
I can't find a version number anywhere in the version I am using.

Re: Cura versions

Yes, Cura 3.1 is the lastest version of Cura. Open your current version of cura and write down settings in your printer setting. You can install Cura 3.1 without uninstall your current version of Cura that come with printer. Add new printer in Cura 3.1 and fill in data get from your old Cura and you are good to go.

Yes, the 3.1 version wants all kinds of data.  I'm not finding it in the old version.

Re: Cura versions

Basically only the printer setting is important, including print bed size, nozzle size, filament dimension and if you have heated bed. The rest data you can use default setting if you can not find in old setting or ask questions if you have problem with the default setting. Since you don't have to uninstall the old version, you can always go back to old version if you got problem.
