Topic: Teflon and other exotic materials

I have nice supply of scrap material and would like to try to make filament from some of them.  I am mainly looking at Teflon (PFA) but also have some ESD PEEK (carbon fiber added).  Both are very high temperature materials (Melt temp of 300-350C).

Does anyone have experience in making filament from these materials?  Does anyone want to try to make filament from these materials?  I can provide scrap samples if needed.

I would advise some serious ventilation while melting those materials. The gases they give off will not be good for your health or anyone in the vicinity for that reason.

Did you ever try making the filament out of the fiber? I am curious if the chopped fibers in the PEEK would clog your filastruder nozzle, or wear it down.
