Topic: thinking to buy emutag but i have a few questions

hi, sorry for my bad english, i am spanish.

i have the da vinci mini w with the last firm and software.

if i buy emutag i dont know how to program...

i have a reader/writer hardware for arduino(i clone amiibos for ninti) and my girlfriend have a cellphone with NFC.
but i dont know how program... what code use or a tutorial or txt with the code for copy and paste on the phone or arduino with the full filament restore.

i need any pay code or similar?

One thing I can tell you is DO NOT  waste your money on those paper tags or anything other than the EMU Tag. They will not work because you cannot change the UID and the pack code is somehow derived partially from the UID.

So Mr. Clown answered the part about the paper tag.  dont waste your time / money.
Now for the EMUtag.  I have one and it was a great purchase.  In the 2 months I have had my printer, I have saved the cost of the EMUtag by using non-xyz filament.
I currently use my NFC phone, Samsung s7 and the MIFARE++ Ultralite app to program the EMUtag.
I also created a tag management database, which creates the file you need to program the EMUtag with the MIFARE++ app.  that link is here:  http://www.soliforum.com/topic/16627/da … g-manager/

All in all, very happy with the EMUtag.

Search and read these forums, there is lots of info to get you started.

ok i saw the link... i have the .csv file... these are the i need copy to mifare++ to write emutag? or i need any personal code?
these codes work for davinci mini w?
i need change the code anytime to i need reset filament?

the MIFARE++ app goes on the NFC enabled phone. 

Read this thread http://www.soliforum.com/topic/15815/xy … w-hacking/ and in here you will see a sample txt file that will act as a template.  Edit the UID, Password and Pack codes as described here, using the data from the csv file you have.  Edit the file on your phone, so you will have the correct end of line characters.  Now use the MIFARE++ app to transfer the file to the EMUtag.

Search and read the different threads here as they will provide you details if you have problems.

Well, in the end I want to buy it but in the store there are not ... you know if they will take muco to replace?

To make sure ... I have to copy a text (the column with numbers) to mifare and pass it to the emutag?

As to the file, yes, you copy it to your phone, and from there use the MIFARE++ app to transfer to the EMUtag.

are you using a windows based machine to create the file?  Or on your phone?
