Topic: XYZ da vinci 1.0 pro 3 in 1 question

Does anyone know if what i had heard is true, that without the cartridge in the printer it wont print, especially if you use 3rd. Party filament spool? Any help is much appreciated.

I just searched for XYZprinting da Vinci 1.0 Pro on Amazon and from the most recent reviews and the product description, it sure sounds like it takes 3rd party filament!

I have never put a filament cartridge in my pro I have no idea why someone would say that. I bought it and been using 3rd party since day 1.
