Topic: Hot End PCB

Is it possible to eliminate the Hot End PCB and direct wire the fan and Thermistor on the Davinci 1.0a.

Failing that on the 7 wire harness are the 2 red wires interchangeable when I resolder the harness to the PCB, or is there a way to test one from the other with a voltmeter?

you can eliminate the pcb it will just no longer be able to detect filament. What is wrong exactly?

Hi

If you look here https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier- … issues/152 there is some data on the wires.

If I remember correctly, the filament sensor is actually a switch. This can easily be verified with a DVM. If so, then the wires can be changed around.

Here Scobo reported that he wired everything directly, and was successful.
