Topic: #3DBenchy question

So, I found the #3DBenchy in Thingiverse and decided I should give it a go to see how well my printer is doing compared to the myriad of pictures posted there. I have an MP mini and tried to get quality, which takes a long time to print, over 3 hours.
I'm including a picture of my settings in Cura, and my questions come in at the photo of it printing.
1. Why are the arches warping upwards?
2. The backside wall of the arch has 2 or 3 strands pulled off (strings). What causes the strings? Is that a bad sign?

Using inland PLA with a recommended printing temp of 205 ~ 225C.

All comments and questions welcomed.

Will post pictures of all sides when it's done and all my files load.

So, I'm also concerned about the top where it looks like it overheated, going to slow or not enough cooling fan? And in the back, you can see where the back wall has some minor spots that look like skipping to me.

WOW! Those pictures are HUGE!! Uh, what should I do next time with the pictures so they are not so huge?

Re: #3DBenchy question

the curling ends in your during print picture is because it is a small area that is not getting enough time to cool before the next layer goes down...
the stringing is usually a retraction issue...
try lowering the temp a little - I run most PLA at 200C - including the several spools of Inland brand I have.

for pictures - crop off unnecessary parts, then reduce the overall size to a max of 800 pixels on the longest side
