Topic: Davinci 1.0 not showing gcode files on display

Hi everybody. I flashed my davinci 1.0 with repetier 0.92.6 I'm able to send files to sd card and start the print using repetier host but I can't print straight from the printer cause the files are not listed in the sd menu...however I can see the SAMPLE.gcode and offline_printing.gcode files...what am I missing?

Re: Davinci 1.0 not showing gcode files on display

Once you flash to Repetier the sdcard no longer functiond as it once did stock. It is used as an EEPROM and temp storage. For the print in process. Once printed the file is purged. The only way to put files on the card to print from the card is to remove the card, put it in a reader connected to a pc and copy the file to the card. For repetier the only file that needs to be on the card is the EEPROM file.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

what extension is your file ? printer filter some extension or lack of extension files, to avoid EEPROM.bin to be deleted for example

also be noted 0.92.6 which actually is 0.92.9 is still in early alpha stage

Re: Davinci 1.0 not showing gcode files on display

What luc wrote made me think and brought me to the solution: I had just to add ".gcode" to the name of the file when I loaded it on the sd card. Thanks to the both of you
