Topic: printing moving parts on the Davinci Jr

Hi,
I printed quite a few parts on my Junior but I want to make some moving parts pieces so I experimented with a small hinge type object and failed miserably...I think I didn't leave enough of a gap between the parts.

Does anyone have any suggestions about settings and how big the gap should be, I've read it should be 0.5mm.
