Topic: Smoothieboard Manufacturer

Hi guys, I am throwing this message out there to see if there would be interest in a new Smoothieboard manufacturer.  Briefly, a SmoothieBoard can control a 3D printer, CNC Router / Mill, Laser engraver and more.    We are based in the U.S. and will be sold from the U.S.  We are a small company with simple add to cart and buy with credit card Paypal, etc.....  Pricing is coming and our Customer Service is impeccable!Llet me know if you think there would be interest in a new place to buy a Smoothieboard with no waiting or pre-ordering.  We want to build and stock the "Smoothies" and send them out right away with no waiting.  ANY INTEREST? Ask your friends!

Excellent!  One largely untapped market you might want to consider is for folks upgrading k40 laser cutters to use open source hardware/software.  Smoothieboards are already a popular choice, but currently people have wire adapter boards (http://3dprintzothar.blogspot.com/2014/ … -with.html) to tap signals from a 12-pin FFC that goes to the laser head.  A smoothieboard that is a plug-in replacement for a Moshiboard (http://www.moshidraw.com/English/Produc … 54524.html) would be a no-brainer for a growing community, and might even attract manufacturers wishing to create open source k40 units.

Thank you for the info. about policies on Smoothie.  We are a small group of engineers that manufacture and design in house.  Our products were mainly going to be Aviation related and have a few aviation products that we are working on also.  we want to expand into other things that are non-aviation related also.  We have the capability to solder reflow in house.  Our Website is about 90% complete and should be coming around soon.

Thanks Tealvince!  I am not well versed in Laser cutters but I appreciate your leads.  I will take a look!  If you have any more info. would greatly appreciate it.
