Topic: weird zigzag in my prints...help

Have a da vinci 1.0a flashed to repetier 0.92 Leveled bed/fixed x axis misaligned pulley
The carrage is aligned. So when i print out a circle i get this weird zigzaz pattern across from each other. The extruder is not hitting the bed. Any thoughts on what I'm missing. Thankshttp://soliforum.com/i/?o243UpK.jpg

You have something loose or binding in one of your axis. Turn the printer of and move the x and y slowly by hand. It should move easily and consistently in both axis directions throught the full travel.

Isn't this just a screenshot of RepetierHost?  That is just the visualization of the commands being sent to the printer, so what you see here would be a result of your slicer.  If you check the layer in the gcode editor, I think you'll find that the zigzag is in the gcode.

DaVinci 1.0A with Repetier, mostly stock with some extruder mods.  Prints ABS, PLA, HIPS, PETG and Taulman Bridge.

Yes this is a screenshot. My prints have this pattern in them no matter what i print. Will have a look at the gcode. Thanks

Funny.   If the blueprint is funky the final building will be too...

Unless you have something set up in your slicer to add this pattern which I have yet to see in a slicer then you have a ghost in your machine.. I was not paying attention to the fact this was a screenshot of the output of the gcode. So as others have said this pattern is in your code and what is causing it will be fun to find..

It happens in slicer,so when using cura problem went away. Thanks for the tips to help figure out the ghost in my machine..lol may try updating slicer in the future, but for now cura is perfect.
