We need more details than that.  What version firmware is that and what board are you trying to flash?  I will throw a few darts at this.
Incorrect com port selected
Incorrect board selected in the tools drop down
Incorrect chip selected in the same drop down^
Incorrect programmer selection same ^^^
Just a few things to get you pointed in the right direction wink
