Topic: Not enough power?

Hey guys I just got my atlas 3d kit and put it all together but I'm having issues the green light on the pi comes on and stays solid, the lasers come on and stay on but it seams like nothing else works, it's like the pi isn't booting. To help eliminate what could be causing it I disconnected all usb, Ethernet and removed the SD card and still nothing, I disconnected the lasers and motor from the control board and still nothing. I unplugged the IDE style connector and used a power adapter to power up the pi itself and it booted up fine.  Has anyone had this issue? did I do something wrong?   Thanks guys!

Ok I did a fresh install of all the software and now it's woking like a champ!!! Weird though, I guess maybe one of the librarys weren't doing what they were supposed to?
