Topic: Can't find Atlas3D IP's address

I am new in this field.
I have purchased the Atlas3D scanner. Mounted all the structure, and I am now trying to determin the IP address of the scanner.
When pluggin an HDMI cable on on the monitor and HDMI cable on the scanner...nothing is displayed on the monitor. The Scanner seems to switch on normaly and the red light appears close to the camera.

Any idea?

Thanks for your help!

Same problem.  Tried WiFi on 4 computers - 'password may be wrong'  Same password I have used over 10 years.  Tried 'No USB Flash Drive' routine - same - scanner seems to boot up OK, mouse & keyboard blink as being recognized, but nothing on the monitor.  Home WiFi works fine - have laptop, IPad, numerous phones & TV all OK.

Open for suggestions

May have found the No USB no video problem.  The HDMI plug on the side of the Pi - the cutout is too small for the HDMI shroud - have to force it in.  Will widen the hole later.

I have totaly unboxed the Rasperry PI from its box and then tried again. Indeed the issue was coming from bad connection. Now my connection with the monitor is ok!

I'm happy to hear you resolved the video issue.  Also, the Pi can disable the HDMI port to save power if it detects that there is no monitor attached when it boots.

Most of the time when you type a password in the way you are on a linux type system which is what this is, the cursor does not move. You simply type in the password, hit enter and hope you got it right.

Linux generally doesn't show passwords.

Re: Can't find Atlas3D IP's address

Yes, I have figure out that now. But still...

Login : pi
password: raspberry

then indicates "Login incorrect"...

Re: Can't find Atlas3D IP's address

If you're using the SD card that came with your ATLAS 3D then the login is indeed pi and password raspberry all lowercase.
