Got my PancakeBot last night.  Have not had time to actually use it but was able to exercise motors with gcode.  Pretty slick!

I was going to make a pancake joke... and now I realise that this ACTUALLY MAKES PANCAKES! Awesome big_smile

SD2 Sanguinololu 1.3a atmega1284p, wood platform, lawsy's carriages, braided fishing line, pallet wood overhead spool mount, carboard/magnet enclosure, glass bed, E3D v6, bed levelling knobs, extended z-stop, 25A DC-DC SSR for bed heater, everything fixed to the SD2 frame, marlin firmware with some adjustments and extra failsafes enabled.  I'll never give up on you, little printer that could(n't)!

Yes I also wanted to make a pancake joke but it doesn't batter anymore. I fried to think of one and I failed. Flipping heck!

how expensive is that Waffle iron/griddle?

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

Pancakes were good.  Batter consistency is like using cheep ABS or PLA.  If it is not mixed well or lumpy it will jam the print head.  I ordered the PrinterBot on Kickstarter for about $178.00 and it came with everything but the batter.
