Topic: 25 x 25cm heatbed setup

Hey guys,

I know this is the Da vinci group but I couldn't find a category for my question, hope you can help me.

I'm trying to build 25x2cm heatbed for my own 3d printer design, however there is no 25x25 heatbed avaliable for a decent price in aliexpress or other similar sites.

Is there a way to build 25x25 heatbed by usişng standart 214x214mm heatbeds? may be by sticking 20x20 heatbed to25x25 aluminium plate may be?

I believe the sellers on aliexpress will make you a custom heat bed to your size if you ask.  Putting a smaller heater on a bigger plate is just asking for trouble. The cooler zone around the outside will cause your print to warp and pop off anyway.  The heat needs to be as uniform as possible.
