Topic: xyz da Vinci 1.0 print bed melting first layers

I have talked to the xyz people about this and they told me to check the wire where it plugs into the heat bed and in the back. It wasn't that. So I messaged them back and then they told me that it could be the bed calibration was off. But Idk. I thought the calibration was only to keep it level not how much heat it is supplying to the bed. I was printing a object with move able parts and the bottom couple layers of all the separate parts melted together.

Check the placement of the bed thermistor.  My guess is that the thermistor is not making good contact with the bed and therefore under reporting the actual temperature of the bed.

Could you post a picture so we can see what the problem is.
Could be that the bed is too high causing the nozzle to dig into the first layer making it look like a ploughed field. I've had that before, it makes the first layer look a melted mess.
