There's an abundance of ABS cartridges out there. Probably because it's kind of a pain to work with.
I was lucky and got a natural PLA cartridge from Amazon, but they're out of stock again.

I am new to 3D printing and have the new DaVinci Pro and the 2 XYZprinting cartridges that I ordered with the printer; the chip in the PLA cartridge is giving me grief, and XYZprinting support hasn't been much help.

If you have the PRO then simply cover the cart chip with a piece of tape so the printer cannot read the cart; then use the cart like you would use any other filament.  The PRO is not locked to using only xyz carts; you can use any filament you like.
