Topic: Da Vinci 1.0A Reboots Randomly

So I have not done any mods/hacks to my Da Vinci (I will once I get another 3D Printer) and it has been acting up latley. Such as duroing a print or it just being on it will reboot. And now when ever I try to send a file to the printer it reboots, even after PC restart, XYZWare< restart, printer unplugged and plugged back in. This is making me very mad. And XYZPrinting's support *bad word* SUCKS! Any Ideas?

Current Versions:

  • 1.0A - 2.0.0

  • XYZware - 2.1.3.2 and have also tried the older version on the disk that came with it.

Thanks for the help!

Are the files large, or have long names? That often cause it to reboot. If it is just doing it idle then you could have a bad or going bad power supply. You can them from Amazon or other places as it is just a common FLEX ATX power supply. You will have to spice the existing connectors on the new one but it's not hard.
